Hollyoaks boss Lucy Allan has stepped down after two and a half years, it has been revealed. The acclaimed producer, who took over the role in , has helmed some hard-hitting and incredibly powerful episodes and storylines over the past two years since taking the reins of the Channel 4 soap. The groundbreaking incel narrative, a story that saw Eric Foster — played by the brilliant Angus Castle-Doughty — terrorise the women of the eponymous village, would also pick up gold at the Soap Awards. She then became the executive producer of Hollyoaks in January , credited on-screen from Episode 2nd August In August , Allan announced her decision to leave the show once more.
