Luke Cosgrove born 24 April is an Australian actor. He has acted in many films and television series such as The Mist , The Rookie , Nyad and many others. Cosgrove went to St. Teresa's Catholic College in Noosaville. When he was in his late teens, he moved to Brisbane, the capital and biggest city of Queensland. Cosgrove began acting when he was 11 years old. In , he made his major television debut in an American science fiction-horror thriller series called The Mist , where he played the character Jay Heisel, a high school quarterback accused of sexual assault.

Cosgrove was born in Nambour, Queensland, and raised on the Sunshine Coast, where he spent much of his time surfing. He started acting at the age of 11, and moved to Brisbane in his late teens to pursue his passion professionally, and starred in several short, independent Australian productions.
