Maewing
Tremendously nourishing by itself, this egg provides basic nutritional value in many cooking recipes. Unlike other species, the Maewing has no gender - any maewing can receive the Mate Boost and mate to lay two one from each parent fertilized eggs, that can be hatched. Any Maewing can also lay an unfertilized maewing randomly, and the interval time can be influenced by an Oviraptor, maewing. All laid eggs have a quality maewing, which is reflected in the egg's name when picked up.

If it doesn't imprint, i don't really see the point. It basically a trough that flies, which is pointless because when do we ever move tames when we are raising them? And if you really need to move them, you will obviously use a cryopod. Am i missing something? Showing 1 - 15 of 15 comments. Originally posted by Honor Guard :. Last edited by Joff ; 3 Jun, pm. A while ago, Ark: Survival Evolved transitioned from a dinosaur-packed survival simulator into a science fiction kaleidoscope that somehow merged with various fantasy elements to create a completely unique gaming experience. It's one of those games that only seem limited by the imagination of the indie developers at Studio Wildcard and the affiliated studios who also worked on the game, however, this resource is in bountiful supply. Drawing inspiration from nature's most bizarre organisms, Ark: Survival Evolved now grants players the potential to find and tame fictional creatures that are completely original to the game, one of which is the majestic Maewing. Very much a hybrid beast, the Maewing looks to be a cross between a Sugar Glider and a Platypus. While not the first hybrid creature in the game, the Maewing is one of the newest, as it only appears in the fifth and last DLC expansion for the game, Genesis: Part 2. The Maewing is a platypus-looking creature that has wings in its belly like a flying squirrel, allowing it to fly and glide long distances. It is also really good in water with fast movement speed thanks to the large paddling tail it uses. The creature also has a few unique and useful attacks which can be used to hit and scatter enemies, but its main purpose of using it as a mount to travel is the most fun you will have. Maewings are pretty easy to find but there and catching them is very easy as well, but only if you are using the right equipment. This region will contain plenty of Maewing that are easy to find and will range from different colors. Having multiple Maewings in this region will give you the advantage of securing and taming one of these creatures, especially if you are going for the traditional way of taming them. If you try to hit a Maewing, it will leap and fly off before you can even get a couple of more hits. Fortunately for you, the game has a pretty easy method to catch one.
