I just tried playing tModLoader again for the first time after it got updated to 1. Also, initially it complained about moving the tModLoader folder with the save files, so I helped it by doing it myself.

Upon startup of the game I get this crash report. Uninstalling terraria or TModLoader and verifying their game files have not fixed this issue and all of my drivers are up to date. Base game terraria runs fine.
