The Mane Six is a group of Ponies, and barers of the Elements of Harmony placed by Celestia to protect Equestria and to spread the magic mane 6 mlp friendship to others.

By Descant , User September 11, I've seen this picture floating around the group of pages I follow on Facebook, and just thought I'd share it with you all. It's of the G4 beta version of the Mane Six. Beta Dash was originally going to be known as Firefly, I believe, as this version of her is based in both looks and personality on the G1 pony of the same name. Cutie mark of dual lightning bolts.

She had a cutie mark that looked like a moon and star, instead of the six-pointed thing we all know and love.

The Mean 6 is the thirteenth episode of season eight of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and the one hundred and eighty-second overall. It marks season eight's midseason finale. The title is a play on "the Mane 6", the term used to collectively refer to the series' six pony main characters. The episode aired on Tiny Pop [5] [6] [7] three days before its scheduled premiere on Discovery Family. Was gonna have Zecora or Spike open and close with some iambic pentameter but didn't have room. At the School of Friendship , Twilight Sparkle and her friends are awaiting the arrival of a photographer pony from the Canterlot Historical Society.

Posted April 29, Heh, I don't think I ever saw you list your favorites like this before. It's always good to see another member who has Fluttershy as their number one pony. But you know Interesting list, I haven't seen that many people who have both Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash and their top 3 but my own list has taken some pretty unpredictable directions. Nice list, I guess Spike can count among them although you said 6 and not 7, kinda misleading haha. A well written and thoughtful list, and thank you for sharing it. Points for including Spike, minus a couple for the background pony joke. It's nice to see someone else who appreciates all the characters.

I would probably still have watched the show, but I like that the colors and names are the way they are now. Otherwise there too much pink and yellow.

Not to be confused with the G4 incarnation of the Mane 6. Mane 6 formerly known as Mane 5 is an official term for the 5 main protagonists of My Little Pony: A New Generation and of G5 media in the years that have followed. Starting around September , after Misty had become a full team member, Hasbro somewhat confusingly began referring to the group as Mane 6.
