Marine carpet glue

In this guide, I have researched and tested various marine carpet glues available on the market, focusing on key aspects like ease of application, durability, and resistance to harsh marine conditions. The glue is also nonflammable and solvent-free, which makes it a safer option compared to other adhesives. However, as I was applying the adhesive, I noticed that the coverage area was somewhat limited. Even though the can suggests it should cover a larger area, I ended up needing to purchase additional cans to finish my project. Another issue I encountered while using this adhesive was the formation of air pockets during application. I had to be very cautious and thorough to ensure there were no bubbles or gaps.

Some say contact cement and some say get the glue from the boat carpet dealers. I've also heard to not use a water based glue but some of the glue supplied from the boat carpet sellers is a water based product. I don't like the spray glue at all,on the flat surfaces,it seems to eventually allow the carpet to bunch up or wrinkle.
