Sensational place to live. Walk to ferry, bus, train and future light rail. Harbour views are gorgeous. Quiet and safe - there are always security guards patrolling the area. I have found it incredibly easy to find street parking, but grab a permit so you can beat the 2 hour limit. When events are on the back lanes are known by you for parking, but not visitors, so hide out there. The Housing tenants had a strong neighbourly bond. The terraces they left are prime real estate and many are Heritage. A lot of filming goes on and lots of tourists walk around taking photos. I've left my doors and windows open the whole time while living here for 2 years and there is never any trouble. I can barely fault this suburb.
