Today's article is the third of the series, and will cover the day Minato and Kushina's son, Naruto, was born!

Minato namikaze is the 4th Hokage. The one who saved the village from the 9 tail fox. The hero who ended the 3rd Great Ninja war singlehandedly. The yellow flash of the leaf. According to Jiraiya, he was an unparalleled genius unlike any other.

Naruto is one of the most popular anime and manga franchises of all time, telling the story of a young ninja aspiring to become the Hokage of his village. The series has a large ensemble cast of characters, shinobi clans, plot twists, backstories, and so on. The story begins with the narration of the events that took place in Konoha over a decade ago, when the titular character Naruto was born. Konoha was attacked by the legendary nine-tailed beast, resulting in numerous casualties. Even the Fourth Hokage lost his life in the battle with the monster. As a result, the villagers were hostile toward the nine-tailed beast. Before he died, the fourth Hokage sealed away the beast inside the body of an infant who was Naruto. It was later revealed in the series that the heroic Fourth Hokage was Naruto's father, Minato Namikaze. Naruto grew up without knowing anything about his parents. Though, that wasn't the only tragedy after Minato's death. If Minato had managed to survive and had been more prevelant throught Naruto , the series would've been quite different. The reason why Naruto was ostracized by the villagers of the Hidden Leaf was that they directed their hatred toward the nine-tailed beast to the boy that had become its host. The beast not only took the lives of their loved ones, but also the life of their beloved Hokage. They taught their children not to mingle with the troublemaker without knowing that he was the son of the hero who died to protect the village. Naruto grew up without any blood relatives to protect him.

Kushina successfully gives birth to Naruto , and Biwako takes the baby away, only for her and fellow midwife Taji to be killed by Tobi , the masked man. Tobi places explosive tags on the newborn Naruto and tosses him into the air, forcing Minato to catch him, remove the tags and use his Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport outside. Tobi uses the opportunity to use Kamui to teleport himself and Kushina elsewhere, where he extracts the Nine-Tails out of her and, controlling it with his Sharingan , decides to attack Konoha. Meanwhile, Minato teleports to one of his safehouses to keep his newborn son safe and manages to teleport back to Kushina, who had the Flying Thunder God seal marked on her Eight Trigrams Sealing Style , and saves her from being killed by the tailed beast. He brings her back to the safehouse, placing her next to Naruto and dresses in his Hokage attire.

Minato entered Konoha's Academy with the dream of earning the villagers' respect and recognition by becoming Hokage. Minato was immediately drawn to her bright red hair, finding it beautiful. Minato was a natural prodigy as a ninja, the likes of which appears only once in a generation. The Sannin took a special interest in Minato and took him on as his apprentice, teaching him many of his own signature abilities. Years later, after they graduated and became ninja, Kushina was kidnapped by Kumogakure forces.

The Konoha -nin posted on the outskirts of the village as guards are attacked by ninja disguised as members of Iwagakure. Their assault is quickly ended when an Anbu detail arrives on the scene and chases them away. Kakashi pursues them and kills them all using his Chidori. Dutifully taking the mission, Kakashi informs Rin of the new developments, unbeknownst to him that the masked man was eavesdropping from a distance. The event that followed culminated in the Nine-Tails wreaking havoc on the village before it was sealed within the newborn Naruto. Shortly before dying, Kushina tells Hiruzen the child's name and pleads with him to protect him — an oath which the Third swears to.
