Mining is one of the primary and gathering professions in WoW Classic. As a miner, you can mine ores, stones, and gems from mineral deposits and also smelt ores. Mining can be combined well with the Blacksmithing and Engineering professions, as they require a lot of stones, bars, etc. But mining products are also required for a few Alchemy and Enchanting recipes. You can learn Mining from Mining trainers, who you can find in all capitals and various other cities. You can, for example, go to one of the following Mining trainers to learn the profession:.

Mining serves three professions: Blacksmithing, Engineering, and Jewelcrafting, so it's really good combined with any of these. Leveling Mining in Dragonflight is much slower than in previous expansions because the normal mining nodes will stop giving you skill points early. You will have to rely on rare nodes to get skill points. But, if you have little competition and are lucky with the rare nodes, you can probably reach in hours. It also depends on how well you use the new Dragon riding skills. After around 60, these will be the only nodes that give you skill points. They spawn randomly instead of a normal mining node, so there is no special farming route to gather them. When you hit 25, you will unlock Specializations. I would suggest having a little bit of a look through the specializations. Spend some time reading through them, then choose which direction you might want to go. These routes are not as strict because the mining nodes are basically everywhere, so you can pretty much go off-route, and you will find mining nodes everywhere. But I generally followed these routes to level my Mining.
