Moffat Independent Hostel is a friendly, family run hostel that has been set up with the outdoors enthusiast in mind. For those wishing to stick around a little longer, we provide an excellent base for exploring everything that southern Scotland has to offer. Tom and Sindy have spent the last 3 years living in Dumfries and Galloway after spending the previous 10 years living and working in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Southern Africa. We have tried to create a hostel that reflects some of our international experiences, whist providing a friendly Scottish welcome! Railway Station - Our nearest railway station is the mainline station at Lockerbie which is 15 miles south of Moffat.
