Animation Drama Comedy. If you have never seen Morel Orel you definitely should, its by far one of Adult Swims greatest creations. But its a shame that during this time Adult Swim didn't want something this dark or depressing but now they have Wham City and Too many Cooks type stuff on a daily basis. So in that way Orel was ahead of its time, its a depressing, cynical, and just all around fucked up deconstruction of religion. The problem is that some think its making fun of religion and the people who support it but thats not it, its about perception and that maybe you shouldn't blindly believe every part of your respected religion. First of all, the animation isn't great. I also don't like the style, but that is just personal preference. However, from the way it looks, it could also be a s movie. Apart from that, the characters are not too interesting, pretty much impossible to identify with and as a consequence, the story isn't memorable either. But the worst thing about this little movie here is the anti-God propaganda.
