We've brought them regularly in the past but clearly this pack must have been sat in a freezer somewhere for quite some time as within 30 seconds of hitting the pan they shriveled up into nothing. Certainly not king prawns. Having seen the poor reviews, I was pleasantly surprised when I received them. They were a good size and smelt fresh. However, the amount of water that seeps out during cooking needs to be seen to be believed. What we were left with were more like economy prawns. I wouldn't buy again.

Due to 'Use by' date my Carer decided, unbeknown to me, to use WHOLE packet for my main meal with bread and butter, pea shoots and tomatoes. Fortunately I love prawns and really made a pig of myself with these lovely BIG ones. Hope my next order will be as enjoyable.

I thought this was really tasty, the only thing i gave 4 stars was because i found it a little too greasy, but great if you are not watching the calories. It does crisp up nicely in the oven but there is not even a hint of prawn flavour to be found. I would not buy it again, however, I did finish it because it tastes like fried bread covered in sesame seeds which is nice but it is not what I expected. Cheaper than takeaway but twice as much and very tasty popped in oven nice n crispy will buy again. No idea why reviews are so low.
