Morrowind armor
Alright I don't have Morrowind but I'm planning on maybe buying it and I saw that there was light, heavy, and medium armor, so I was want to know the differences between medium and heavy armor, and which one you guys think is better. I can see into the future. You will wear full set of light assassins armor. Totally heavy armor. It's quite heavy, indeed, but you can always enchant something to improve your strength. As in, the reason that Divayth Fyr never moves. He's too encumbered in Daedric armor. The best full set one can get in Ebony armor, which weights pounds. Stop and think about that a minute. Two hundred and thirty six pounds!!!! On the other hand, heavy armor provides the best protection. And oddly enough, fully trained light armor provides better protection than fully trained medium armor for the vanilla game. But on the third hand, by the time you think you need your own full set of Daedric Armor, you're going to be nigh invincible anyway. So it really doesn't matter.
Why Skink-In-Trees-Shade gives no quests and is always working on a potion. More Topics from this Board.

Armors in TES Morrowind are going to accompany you from the beginning to the very end of the game. Steel armor is a far more reliable piece of equipment than iron armor, even though it only protects a couple of additional points more than its predecessor. Get your hands on some steel armor to fend off annoying foes during the first 15 levels of the game. Imperial steel armor is a variant of steel armor that protects basically the same amount of points as its regular steel counterpart. The only difference is that this one has a more elegant design, which suits the imperial army better than others. And it offers a single point of additional defending. The Nordic iron armor might be a weak armor type, but it offers great defending for the first 20 levels of the game. Consider this a great temporary option as you work your way through Morrowind.
Morrowind armor
In Morrowind Light Armor is generally considered to be the best armor skill in the game by players. The reason for this is despite being Light Armor it offers you nearly the same protection as Medium Armor while being lighter to carry. Heavy Armor generally offers you better protection and has more Enchantment Value per piece

Running out of balmora, killing a cliff racer, and enchanting a ring with invisibility for 4 sec on use so I could run to the fort was fun. As of this message, I have 58 hours in the game on Steam. Fear those that don't need it. I like light armor because I value unencumbered characters The reason this game can be easy sometimes is because of certain abuses of the combat engine. Why Skink-In-Trees-Shade gives no quests and is always working on a potion. Really helpful and I appreciate the help :D I decided I'm probably going to use heavy armor. I agree with the idea that I could just wear whatever is my best armor piece for the slot. InfernalDragon5 14 years ago 9 Well to be fair, there are some armor types that you'd wear regardless of what your primary skill is. Daedric is sooooooooooooooooooooo heavy and you have to kill a very important character to get a full set of it since theres only 1 full set in the game. The Indoril Armour Set, worn by Ordinators.
In Morrowind Medium Armor is generally considered to be the worst armor skill in the game for one main reason.
If I made any mistakes please let me know and I will try to corret them. Meaning if you're caught in a long drawn out duel and your armor breaks, you wont go back down to 0. I'm all for medium armor mostly because bonemold is so cool looking early on hehe. Standin' around like a bloody idiot! I think there are only two full sets of Daedric armour in the entire game including both expansions.
