Mortal kombat x missing characters
Mortal Kombat 1 's roster is looking impressive so far, but there are still some major characters that are unaccounted for. So far, a lot of the most important characters from the series have managed to receive a place in Mortal Kombat 1 's story, ensuring a spot in the new universe. However, there are still some significant gaps in the roster that may need to be filled with vital characters. In fact, a few of the characters not yet mentioned may be a surprise to longtime fans. Following the canonical ending of Mortal Kombat 11 , the universe has been reset by Liu Kang and his new powers as the God of Fire. While his intended plan of creating a world without war or strife seems to have failed, many details have been changed in the new world regardless. Many characters have new stories to tell, and potentially new destinies awaiting them, and this could potentially include some unannounced favorites once Mortal Kombat 1 launches. Fans already know about Mortal Kombat 1 's version of Kitana , but the status of one of her closest allies is still a mystery. Jade, the bodyguard and friend of the fan-wielding princess, has still not been announced for a role on the playable roster nor as a Kameo fighter. Jade is almost as important to Kitana's history as Mileena is, so her lack of presence creates a notable hole in the roster. While the new direction of Mortal Kombat 1 's timeline could lead to things playing out differently between Kitana and Mileena, it's worth seeing where Jade plays into the situation as well.
Could this mean than Shang Tsung will be filling a larger role? In the old continuity, he was turned into a cybernetic ninja in MK3. Quan Chi was one of the main antagonists in Mortal Kombat X.
Mortal Kombat 11 is upon us, and anticipation couldn't be higher. Fans of the franchise have anxiously awaited the release of the latest installment since its announcement in Mortal Kombat X brought with it a few new characters who the fanbase quickly took to. Some even became immediate fan favorites, like Cassie Cage. Some of these new characters will be making a return, some voiced by celebrities like Ronda Rousey.
Mortal Kombat 11 is an impressively encompassing fighting game experience. Even so, Mortal Kombat X still has value. Mainly, the combat is faster and there are a handful of characters who are not available in the sequel. With the Mortal Kombat X's inclusion as a PS Plus offering for the month of October, this seems like an appropriate time to highlight these characters who were left behind when the sequel hit shelves. Many fan favorites made it to the new game as DLC , but these poor souls were not chosen. At least it makes jumping into the prior title a more worthwhile endeavor. This ninja doesn't have the most personality — he is basically a mindless collection of souls — but Ermac's abilities and design make him appealing to fans. He received a lot more characterization in the 3D titles from the start of the century, even becoming a protagonist who positively affects the events of those games. It would be great to see Ermac regain this position in the future during this new timeline. Regardless, an appearance in almost every mainline game isn't a bad track record for a character who started out as a palette swap.

But even if Mileena is ultimately absent from Mortal Kombat 11 , we can't imagine she's gone forever. This iconic horror character brings a feral quality to the game with his soiled clothes and human flesh mask. He could potentially hire henchmen to push his disembodied head around in a cart but his storyline wouldn't be sufficient to make up for his lack of a body. Tiger View Profile View Posts. Smoke wasn't just another ninja, even if he started off as a Scorpion palette swap. Kenshi didn't actually know of Takeda's existence for many years, as his mother Suchin kept it a secret from him. Ozzie Mejia posted a new article, Mortal Kombat X - 5 characters that missed the cut. The backstory for this character states that Xenomorphs had visited Outworld long ago but the dormant eggs they had left behind were just recently discovered. Though Mileena's "sister" Kitana will be appearing in Mortal Kombat 11 , the insane and toothier version of the fighter is nowhere to be seen in the new installment. The irony is that Rain's entire character is centered around joining the Outworld forces after he felt that Edenia didn't truly appreciate what he brought to the table.

His physical traits are enough to make him a formidable opponent but he also has some incredible weapons at his disposal. Could this mean than Shang Tsung will be filling a larger role? While this may seem relatively boring when compared to super speed and teleportation, his weapons do give him a distinct range that most of the combatants don't possess. Despite this, he is a powerful fighter that players have grown to love. Because of his relative newness in the MK universe, it's possible many long-term fans of the series won't even notice his exclusion. Sorry this didn't help. His proclivity toward a bow and arrow were an added bonus to the fighter's already long list of desirable attributes. We know that once a character dies they usually don't return to the roster in the following game. Many characters have new stories to tell, and potentially new destinies awaiting them, and this could potentially include some unannounced favorites once Mortal Kombat 1 launches. Leatherface is a human being who doesn't possess any supernatural powers or have access to any advanced technology. As one of the most recognizable Native American video game characters in an industry seriously lacking in representation of indigenous peoples, Nightwolf stood out among the roster of MK fighters. The pack containing Tanya MK4 , Tremor, and the two movie characters is underwhelming. Though his mother died when he was still relatively young, Takeda has become a fierce competitor and another well-loved character of the franchise.
