The intersection and median at 12 Mile Road at Mound Road closed Friday and will remain shut down until October 20 to reconstruct the inside lanes and median of the intersection. Access from 12 Mile Road to Mound Road will be maintained during the closure, however, eastbound and westbound 12 Mile Road traffic will not be able to continue through the Mound Road intersection.
