I never would have anticipated the way these Bratz look alikes would mold my dolly world when I first learned of their existence in But as I reflect on these past eight years as an adult moxie girlz collector, moxie girlz, I can see how they were slowly leaving a mark on me, even in those early days.
The Moxie dolls do indeed have regular feet : Nice reveiw as always! Amorie is my favorite! I think that's a good idea, Steph. I had a similar thought--especially because the Chelsea clothes fit pretty well. Amorie definitely deserves a better outfit! Neve is my favorite, probably because the blonde hair and the dirty marks make her look vulnerable xD.

But then I ended up with, like, twelve of them and I started getting bored. Especially because Moxie dolls have very, very, very flat faces. And what art style involves girls with very large eyes? Not the ramblings of an exhausted student with too much creative energy. So now you know all that, grab a piece of paper. If you want to start work on your doll instead of planning out the eyes on paper, make sure the doll is properly prepared to be repainted. For information on how to prep a doll for repainting, see my post on Materials and Doll Prep. You can start designing your eye in any way you want. I start by drawing the outline of the eye, then the top and bottom lashes. Thicker on top, thinner on the bottom lid. Add in the pupil. There are different styles you can use for this part. Some anime or manga eyes are shaded to be very heavy on the black. There are black outlines everywhere, very much like a traditional comic book. See the picture below.
I love to help and learn from other rescuers, moxie girlz. I was hoping that these minis would make good siblings for the larger Moxie Girlz dolls, and moxie girlz do to an extent, but Tally's features seem a little too grown-up for her relative size.

The dolls stood at 10 inch dolls and featured a more youthful screening and more conservative fashions compared to Bratz. The line launched with four core characters: Avery , Lexa , Sophina and Sasha , the latter of which was named after the Bratz character of the same name. In early , Sasha would be replaced by Bria as the fourth core Moxie Girl. Later in , Bratz would return to the market with new releases, but Moxie Girlz would coexist alongside the new Bratz. The line would continue with consistent releases over the next few years until , when the final Moxie Girlz would release.

Also Neve is a darling! You can seal more or less often depending on your preferences. I am betting they will be on e-bay soon because I can't believe that much just sold in one week. The Moxie Girlz Friends line seems to have at least three varieties of doll so far--all marked as Target exclusives. This doll has a few dirt smudges and scuffs on her cheeks. Weirdly large. After her haircut. Pour hot water over her head. Still not sure why the green is happening. Moxie Girlz also inspired me to rekindle my creative side.

We spent hours upon hours walking through this enormous flea market, and as time wore on, we slowly acquired more and more treasures. These guys are soo cute!! Views: Anyway, I use a Delta Ceramcoat gloss interior varnish. I like these unusual eyes combined with the natural gloss on her lips and the dark extravagance of her hair. I love your phrase, "explosion of dark curly hair. The lightest pink was the base color, used to fill in the irises in the previous step.
