When the opportunity came up to create some accommodation on the Mudbrick property, we decided to create a fantasy, fairy-tale cottage — full of character and old-world charm, with rustic touches and romance. We had a lot of fun creating a little get-away nestled on the hillside awaiting visits from people from all parts of the world. We hope that after looking at the photo gallery you get the feeling that your stay at the fairy-tale cottages will be amazing. We are passionate — and unashamedly so!

Mudbrick cottage

Coonabarabran Mudbrick Cottage is hidden amidst the trees on this country property. It is a quaint, self-contained, mud brick solar cottage, accommodating up to five people with linen provided. The last one kilometre is on a dirt road. The cottage is set on acres of bushland, seven kilometres south of Coonabarabran, and is home to a wealth of wondrous wildlife. This serene environment creates an idyllic hideaway for holiday makers and their children. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience a little old fashioned Aussie bush magic, while cooking on a slow combustion stove or on the barbecue. Relax and enjoy the comfort of a wood heater on those cold winter nights. Laundry is also available. Pets are welcome, but at the property owner's discretion. The cottage has television, a covered barbecue area, hair dryer, ceiling fans, and wood heater available and accommodates up to seven people.

Plants were very healthy, so different to what you get from your local hardware store. Easy to plant, shipping was fast, just all around great shopping. Will purchase from these guys again. Am thrilled with my Burdock root and Schisandra berries. Beautiful quality herbs that arrived in record time — and even came with a sweet note from the Herb Cottage crew. So glad I found this lovely local business! Plants arrived safely and healthy and were packaged well as always.
