They would run this still long into the night just to ensure that they had enough corn liquor to fulfill orders. With two years under their belt they ran into a bit of a crossroads. They had the option to upgrade the still and only be out of commission for a short period of time or completely overhaul the distillery and make sure this issue never arose again. Upon returning to the family farm in Ontario, Canada, Ben would begin to incorporate his younger brother Sullivan into the operation. The two would begin running their homemade still within one of the barns on the family farm, unbeknownst to their parents of course. After being encouraged by friends and family the brothers would decide to pursue legal sale of their liquid craft. Legally born in , Murphy's Law Distillery would earn its space on LCBO store shelves within their first year of operation, a tall task for any craft distillery.
