Let's find out! Mushroom trees are pretty cool to look at as well as being tappable if you luck out and get one on your farm. I would love to let them take over the southeastern corner of my forest farm. However, I haven't found a ton of information about how mushroom trees work. I did watch this video , but I'm not sure how accurate his info about their growth is. Maybe we can figure out some of this stuff together!

Stardew Valley features five types of wild tree, which includes every variety outside of fruit trees. Three of them are very common and grow in most areas: maples, oaks, and pines. They won't grow to the final stage if they are in the shadow of another fully grown tree meaning the 8 spaces around the base , and though they turn into stubs in winter they will come back in Spring.
