Unimpressed, Nighteye asks Izuku to leave, but Izuku responds that he made the expression from the Vinegar Suicide Incident in which a middle schooler who could change the properties of water to vinegar was drowning. All Might saved him but suffered injuries to his eyes as a result of the vinegar. Nighteye is well aware of the incident, but since it is unremarkable it's seldom brought up on fan sites. Nighteye gets down to business and surmises that Izuku wants an internship under him. Izuku brings out the contract.

It's been a fun week on my end; some good stuff came in the mail I finally have a nice copy of the Valis collection.

One month prior to the events of the incoming War , Hawks continues his duty as a double agent infiltrating the newly formed Paranormal Liberation Front for the Hero Public Safety Commission , having just recently received the tip of "hospital". While speaking with members of the "Carmine Regiment", he is approached by Twice asking for advice. Due to Spinner and Mr. Compress being busy with meetings with Re-Destro 's group, Dabi and Giran not caring, and Himiko being too cute for him to ask, he wants to know what he should say in regards to their "credo". He mentions being lectured by Sanctum about how there are many in the Liberation Army who still don't trust the League of Villains and want to hear the "credo" directly from them, so he desperately asks Hawks for help. Hawks thinks about how the Paranormal Liberation Front has been split up into regiments with League and Liberation Army members each assigned as the leaders to individual units. Compress the "Brown Regiment". He continues that the numbers and power these groups possess outclass most of the Pro Heroes , and that if they were to attack, they would win.

Nighteye informs Izuku that his internship will be harsh where he will have to work several days in the week, be employed for at least a month and be forced to take many absences. Although the working conditions are harsh, Izuku still wants to work an internship under Nighteye. Nighteye takes the stamp but does not stamp the contract.

Nighteye orders Mirio and Bubble Girl to leave. The ED is less remarkable, but I appreciate it being such a callback to the show's first ending, showing us the journey Deku's continuous running has taken him through all these years, yet having him hesitate ever so slightly before choosing to take his next step. There are some fun moments of slapstick, but the humor fades as the film goes on, and the action is never particularly impressive or memorable. By touching any part of his target and matching his gaze with theirs, Nighteye's Quirk gives him the ability to predict the actions that person will take in advance for the period of an hour. Nighteye suggests that Izuku should put some distance between them and fret at the reality that he cannot possibly overcome his Foresight. Nighteye takes the stamp but does not stamp the contract. Granted, considering just how busy and chaotic this past arc has been, it's not the worst idea to get everyone back up to speed, even if it's through an awkward framing device of Deku reading the reports on the whole event sometime in the future.
