Replaced a cheapo Pioneer SX that did the job for several years with one of these. Got it on the cheap because the volume knob had some scratchiness - Deoxit cleared it right up. I had high expectations after reading these reviews but wow does this thing sound good. The phono stage blows that little Pioneer out of the water, the FM tuner is excellent, and the CD input sounds great just plugged into my phone. It even makes my 80s tapes sound good. My first NAD, but I doubt it'll be my last. Reviewed Nov 12th, by Dickthewhite. Have two NAD receivers in my 40 year history as an audiophile. To get an amplifier to even approach doubling down needs a phenomenally large well regulated PSU and a huge number of OPTs along with extreme attention to any voltage drop, anywhere. Similar threads.

New posts. They have both been excellent, but this model is simply outstanding. Reviewed Jan 07th, by gotoml Found one cheap at Goodwill and will never sell. The amplfier is a Class-G design having two supply rails. Getting replacement transistors was not easy, had to come from Hong Kong, were not cheap and were ineffective at making the amp side work.
