The Ruins is the first area of Undertale, which gradually introduces combat, light puzzles and the story to come. The following is designed to be played as part of a complete Pacifist guide - in short, going through the entire game without killing anything to unlock a different ending. Most other endings follow the exact same route and only differ in small ways, and our wider Undertale walkthrough delves into other areas of the game. Once you wake up head to the right into the next room, and then head towards the light to meet Flowey who'll introduce you to some basic combat mechanics. His 'friendliness pellets' are nothing of the sort, but whether you avoid them or fall for his clever ruse the fight will be interrupted by Toriel. Follow her into the next room, use the save point, and then keep following her as she explains a few things about the game - do as she tells you, and eventually you'll arrive at a combat dummy. Interact with it, then use the Act command to talk to it a few times before Sparing it. Follow Toriel again and she'll guide you through a bit more of the Ruins, and eventually will leave you and tell you to wait.

During Mettaton EX's battle , Napstablook is the first viewer to call and express gratitude for Mettaton's television programs, as shown by the typing quirks - missing capitalization, abundance of ellipses and the frequent use of 'oh' - and the way Mettaton says " NO, WAIT BL— " suggesting that he was referring to Napstablook as "Blooky," Napstablook's nickname. If you can't be arsed to do it that way though, "killing" him has no negative repurcussions. However, the protagonist cannot eat the sandwich because it phases through them. Victar 7 years ago 3. Defeating him doesn't trigger anything special nor raise your XP. EvenSpoonier 7 years ago 4 I thought that "killing" Napstablook still disqualified you from the True Pacifist ending. Yeah, wouldn't really say losing out on that is much of a "negative repercussion. GgabrielBR posted

Napstablook, sometimes called "Blooky" by his friends, is one of the main characters in Undertale. You first encounter Napstablook in the Ruins, how the encounter goes depends on which route your taking in the game's story.

If the protagonist refuses to lie down, Napstablook exits the house through the right wall and does not return until the protagonist leaves. EvenSpoonier 7 years ago 4. You can also destroy the dummy in the beginning as well. Oh, well I've already beaten it Napstablook appears in the center-bottom basement room of the Ruins' six-holed puzzle room if spared in the initial encounter. How do I get Neutral Route? It affects something in the credits of one of the endings. Hey don't push that on Flowey, he was the one begging you to stop at one point. So do I have to "kill" him at this point? Am I mistaken?
