With the knife bolt out, grab the arm of the wobble box the bolt goes through and see if it has any play in it. It should not move. Any play will shorten the life of the bushing; Check the bushing that Green Fields mentioned The bushing is in the arm and is what the bolt goes through. It should be round and not elongated.
For a machine this old it is unlikely to find them like this though. This might result in the knife head bushing protruding a bit on the top or the bottom of the knife head, but that's normal.

If the bearing does not come out, remove the cap on top and take a shaft and drive it out of the yoke. It will have tight and loose spots when you pivot the yoke. The parts diagram shows an idler pulley on some models with an adjustable spring that would also help tighten the belt. All I really need is the metal breacket it self. Other than that have only changed a belt and one bearing on the reel in four years of owning the one Slip clutch bolts broke and were easily replaced.
