For a machine this old it is unlikely to find them like this though. This might result in the knife head bushing protruding a bit on the top or the bottom of the knife head, but that's normal.

The parts diagram shows an idler pulley on some models with an adjustable spring that would also help tighten the belt. All I really need is the metal breacket it self.
