In the spring, a loyal customer wrote a positive review on Facebook that went viral, creating more business at a time when restaurants needed it the most. But in August, tragedy struck the small fish and chip joint when it burned down. The owner, David Nicholson, has always suspected arson but the Halifax Regional Police was not able to prove it. Nicholson was renting his building at the time of the fire. Losing the restaurant in the middle of a pandemic was difficult for the father of four young children. The biggest help came when Nicholson was offered a new space to lease on the corner of Cobequid and Glendale Ave in Sackville. It was a huge upgrade over the old location.

Nicholson's Pub 4. CJ was our server and he was absolutely spectacular! He knew what we wanted before WE knew what we wanted. I had the fish and chips for dinner and it was enough for a second meal. The fish was crispy and flavorful and the fries were perfect. The ketchup was surprisingly delicious as well. Overall I would absolutely eat here again, but only if CJ was the server! Our server, Chloe, was fantastic. I loved the hot brown - one of the best I have ever had, if not the very best, and I snuck a few bites of his Burgoo which was also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant! We had fun walking around 21c as well, after lunch.

I had Brussels sprouts, Chicken Schnitzel and deep fried Cauliflower. The service was also superb.

Only uncomfortable thing we noticed was Air conditioning was not good at the place we sat. The staff and servers were extremely friendly. Madhu Babu Rapolu. Wee dinner is 2 pieces, full dinner is 3 pieces. Manage consent. The service and food was outstanding! Our waitress did a great job, even when it was clear the building was super packed and staff were stretched thin with the shows at the aronoff. Jimmy John's Northern Blvd Too far to deliver. We had 2 drinks, was just enough The ambiance was great Our server was phenomenal!!! Got us out with plenty of time before show. And the TCM was delicious both delivered to our home and delivered to our table. The hostess greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile and our server Ava was a joy and pleasure and a breath of fresh air! Overall great experience!
