Part of the fun of creative painting is that you can use your imagination to have more fun with color. Sunsets, clouds, stars, and other skyscapes are a particularly great place to start experimenting with acrylic painting inspiration! Start with the ultramarine blue at the top of the canvas and work your way down, dark-to-light, until the whole canvas is covered. I recently looked for new ideas and found some easy night sky painting tutorials. To paint a night sky, start painting the canvas with a black or dark blue background. Start by applying thin layers of paint, getting slightly darker as you go until you achieve the desired shade. If you want something more complex, try adding a few clouds to create a more whimsical look. Then, use a lighter color to paint the stars. You can make them bigger and brighter by mixing different colors with white. I used colors from purple to pink to create a colorful night sky. First, I layer the colors where they are supposed to be, and then with a slightly wet flat brush, I blend them directly on the paper. Let the sky dry.

Again, add highlights only to one side of each tree the same side as the green. Now we can start to paint the brighter areas and define the crater edges. Finally, mix a little yellow and white on your palette to add some dramatic highlights to the side of the tree trunks. Please refer to the sections above for more details.
