Nikos taverna mykonos
This really feels like a school canteen.
Nikos Tavern is one of the longest-running restaurants in Mykonos, having been established in It has a rustic charm and the seafood is excellent. It's a traditional Greek tavern and less fussy than some of the other establishments on the island. Always a popular choice and located on a lovely square by the seafront. Local dishes are often prepared daily with Mr Nikos farm itself providing some of the ingredients and is all very reasonably priced.

One of my favorite things to do in Mykonos is to walk the coast between Platys Gialos and Paradise Beach. A must-stop along the way is Nikolas Taverna , which serves awesome seafood and authentic Greek dishes from its idyllic and secluded spot on Agia Anna Beach. The chef transforms local ingredients into visual masterpieces and waiters are happy to suggest Greek wines to pair with your dishes. Choose from dishes such as lamb sous vide, slow-cooked veal on eggplant puree, tuna carpaccio with lentils and scallops on baked apple. Dinner only; reservations essential. Enjoy roasted and oven baked vegetable or meat dishes, as well as homemade pies, salads and spreads — made with ingredients sourced on site. The menu is creative and top-notch, offering exquisite and artfully-prepared dishes using only the freshest ingredients. Excellent hospitality and an extensive wine list only add to the appeal.

Had dinner with my wife at this thoroughly enjoyable, family run, Greek Taverna. The owner was very welcoming and we were well looked after throughout and despite not having a reservation we were given a table in the back room before being moved to the The selection of dips and grilled octopus we had to start were very tasty.
