Although the battery is a relatively new AGM, I figured it might be a bit low and decided to drive around to charge it up. That afternoon, when returning home, the startup was even more sluggish; the "Service Engine Soon," VDC Off" and "SLIP" warning lights were illuminated on the dash; and driving home I could tell the power was a bit down. Got home, took the multimeter to the battery, ran some tests, and power from battery and alternator were giving me normal numbers volts depending on what I was checking and what was turned on. My one little piece of advice to others is to throw a blanket over the engine and literally lay on it while reaching around.. I did both on my , ended up breaking the brittle plastic end of the heater hose while installing the passenger side. Replaced the hose with one from AutoZone, theirs is all metal and wont break again.
