Be prepared to pay up to 12,, units for this compact and maneuverable fighter. I'm flying around an A class explorer that I found and have been fixing up for weeks. It has 19 slots. It is all random though. The Exotic has 20 regular slots, plus 6 Tech slots. One trick at a trade depot is to hop in and out of your ship to create a save point, scan the sky for what you want. If a particular ship has piqued your interest, the best grinding spot is a station it lands on as part of the first group. You'll see more fighter variations in Vykeen systems, more haulers in Gek, and either more shuttles or explorers in Korvax. Since I did reload at the end of the 2nd wave, I can confirm that waiting around for additional waves is considerably less efficient than reloading after the first wave.
