I stopped in at the Nordstrom Rack in Brentwood this morning on its opening day. The scene that greeted me was utter mayhem. The crowd began forming outside the store well before 9 a. It took me about 10 minutes to battle for a spot as other drivers and I stalked shoppers with blue Rack shopping bags heading to their cars.
