However, it seems that trying to make the old parts seem completely new is harder than it seems. I have been meaning to try and make the cardan shaft housing and swingarm of the motorcycle seem spotless, but some of the dirt spots are not coming off after severe scrubbing with a sponge and some warm water.

Not ridden one but many despatch riders down south used them in abundance , I think the chain version was a "Bros" Jap Import or and they preffered the Revere , they nicknamed the one above Yep, them and kwak gts used to be courier's choice oop north too. Bros product one and Product two and Revere were all chain drive, both the bros models were grey imports, however the Revere sold here was cc, to later evolve into the cc NTV, the GT hawk was also chain drive. Boxy but good!

I'm going to look at a NTV tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knew any specific faults I should look out for? Also any general information about the bike that could be useful would be greatly appreciated. Sounds like rather a lot for a bike with that many miles, especially this time of year. Far too much.
