Today I am going to share with you my thoughts on a makeup brand called OXX which you can get from your local Kmart. My first instinct would be to think….. I picked up 2 eyeshadow quads, 2 lipsticks and an eyebrow pencil to review. I wanted to test it out first before buying more from the range. The eyebrow pencil did however say that it was Dark Brown.

Isha: Since I have dry skin, I love products that moisturise my face. But this Hydrating Primer felt very heavy and oily, which made it slightly difficult to blend out. Jemima: I tried the Brightening Primer because I wanted something that would make me a bit more glowy and wake up my face. It feels more like a sunscreen. Isha: Although the foundation had a thick consistency, it blended like a dream. The coverage is on the medium side, but is buildable if you prefer a more glam look. I think this would be a great product for my everyday makeup routine. It also lasted well throughout the day considering how oily my skin can get.

The colour was lovely and became quite subtle when blended in - making it great for a glowy, natural makeup look.

The pale grey-brown shade was wonderful as a transition shade, though a little cool-toned for the look I was going for, so I paired it with another warmer brown shade I own to suit the warmth of the look I was working on.
