Persona 5 Royal 's Dr. Takuto Maruki is the game's true final boss, and the best villain in the entire Persona franchise so far. Though unassuming in his initial appearance, like so many of the characters introduced and expanded upon in this expansion of the original Persona 5 , there is much more to Dr. Maruki than first meets the eye. Persona 5 Royal makes multiple changes to the original game, beyond adding an expansion to the original story. Sometimes, these villains can be misunderstood figures who took their frustrations out incorrectly, while there are other times when these people are so incredibly evil that taking them out is the only course of action left to the heroes. Mitsuo Kubo is a pretty creepy character, stalking and asking Yukiko to hang out with her even though she had no idea who he was.
