You are now at ping g10 stage where you need a new set of clubs, upgrade your equipment and your game. What should you be looking for?

The fantastic Ping G10 irons topped the TG charts. Ping has fine-tuned its previous irons to come up with an awesome design and finish, to attract golfers looking for something of technical innovation and genuine quality to put in their bag. These were our most consistent irons on test, and although not the longest, they proved extremely forgiving and incredibly easy to launch. By creating a new custom tuning port shape, the hitting area allows a consistent ball speed from the face, while an elastomer CTP insert controls vibrations for a solid feel. Ping has a loyal following, so this new model is bound to do well. But the quality and performance of these Ping G10 irons could tempt many other golfers, too.

The story behind the Ping G10 Driver is one of evolution not revolution. Technicians have spent hours studying how high MOI designs actually work. If your wondering how it differs to the Ping G5, well its body is slightly wider, the face height is slightly taller which ultimately means the clubs centre of gravity is located a little lower and deeper meaning more forgiveness over Pings previous great drivers. When it comes down to the stats Ping tour players have found the Ping G10 an average of five yards longer than their current driver. While club golfers comparing the G10 and Ping G5 have experienced a four yard gain in carry distance and a 2 mph gain in ball speed. Which we agree all adds up to the G10 being a worthwhile addition. And quality lasts forever. But actually, if you went and got yourself fitted for one of these you might not need to tinker with your driver for some time. The G10 was the follow-up to the hugely popular G5… which in turn was the follow-up to the hugely popular G2! It features a high MOI and so offers stability and forgiveness on off-centre hits; but it also has explosive power, with the result being that long, straight drives become that much more attainable.

Callaway is another big brand name and their Ping g10 Max would feature in this category. Packed with state of the art technology they feature the following:.

Stabilizing the thin, large face is the Custom Tuning Port which also works to enhance feel and feedback. The Ping G10 irons are cast irons made from grade stainless steel. Not a bad material for irons overall; just not the most premium. In any case, the Ping G10 irons are affordable and they certainly still have something to offer high handicappers. All of which help increase the forgiveness of these irons. The offset will help you straighten out your shot and the weak launch profile will help you get your ball high up into the air. You get good stopping power from these irons which is great if you want the ability to land more greens. The large face profile means a larger sweet spot.

Took 6 days for delivery and loving them. Awesome club. But in building the G10, Ping may have given themselves a problem; how will they improve on what is quite clearly already a brilliant club? Ping has revolutionized the industry through this technology and the use of the PING nFlight Technology analysis tool. Again for better and stronger players this is a frustrating element. Why should you consider the Ping G10 irons? Hit it 20 to 30 yards longer than my old Benross Driver. Which we agree all adds up to the G10 being a worthwhile addition. If your in the market for a new set of clubs i recommend you give them a demo before making your decision to buy any of the others on the market. Yes, another Ping success and, yes, the G10s have been around for a while but their quality means they cannot be ignored.

Callaway is another big brand name and their Mavrik Max would feature in this category. Affordable, easy on the pocket. In all I am very impressed and would recommend this club to any one low or high hadicap. At this stage in my golfing life, I couldn't have asked for more. Overall a very nice club that performs very well for its intended market. Anywan want to buy a great G2?? A very good alternative, especially for mid to high handicappers, with an equally competitive price tag. Technicians have spent hours studying how high MOI designs actually work. Classy great looking clubs. Got fitted by Ping thouroughly recommend it and bought G10 12 deg driver with stiff shaft and G10 4 wood with stiff shaft - now I hit my driver long and consistent. And quality lasts forever.
