While waiting to visit his mother at the hospital, Quill was listening to " I'm Not in Love " on his Walkman to comfort him, until his grandfather Jason Quill packed it away in his backpack.

The helmet itself barely seems LEGO, especially with all the fine hair detailing that went into this model. All of the time and parts that went into this creation sure seems to have paid off! In the mean time I'll make due admiring this completely awesome baby Groot by builder Legohaulic. He's loaded with attitude and totally ready to save the galaxy, again. Jammin' while building a device to jam with. Vaionaut designed Star-Lord's tape player, and item from Peter's past that he can not part with. I love the headset portion, using some flexible tubing and clever curves used to construct the speaker areas. The main body of the player is also very clean and is cleverly incorporating the dark blue and light gray. I have only seen one other LEGO version of this player, but this is a bit better in my opinion. Nicely done! Just following the release of the wonderful Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. I'm still fond of the set released along the original film, but this one is undoubtedly more well-fit to minifigure scale, and it's got some lovely shaping on the edges.

What you see is what you get, and what you get is pretty satisfying. So simple that it has to be true. In this case, that honor goes to composer Tyler Bates, who scored Guardians of the Galaxy. Along with James Gunn, they put together a soundtrack that was pretty much its own character within the film. These songs are intertwined with every major moment of the movie, from its opening to close. And until recently, I never gave the selection of these songs much thought.
