Attack on Titan 's fourth season began in unfamiliar settings, showing fans soldiers from across the ocean fighting on the front line. From here, the Marleyan lifestyle and Eldian oppression became apparent, and a handful of new Titan Shifters were introduced. The more these Shifters are shown through both memories and present moments, the more their personalities are revealed. Pieck is a soft-spoken and kind soldier, but Porco seems to always have a chip on his shoulder; the only time the Jaw Titan Shifter appeared to show some sincerity was moments before being consumed by Falco Grice. One prevalent detail in Reiner and Porco's interactions is the latter's loathing for the Armored Titan. This stems from him believing Reiner should never have been chosen to inherit the titan; it should have been him. Porco's older brother Marcel was set to obtain the Jaw Titan and embark on the mission to Paradis , and the younger brother worked hard to become the Armored Titan to fight alongside his sibling in their country's most important mission. However, while Porco was set to inherit a Titan , Marcel sabotaged his brother and instead convinced Marley to give Reiner the honor. After he became a titan shifter himself, the Galliard family would become honorary Marleyans so there was no point in Porco shortening and risking his life. The warrior was completely unaware of this, so a strong grudge against Reiner manifested. In Porco's eyes, Reiner was the one who stopped him fighting alongside his brother and is also to blame for Marcel's death. However, once he inherited the Jaw Titan he saw his older brother's memories and the truth came to light. Porco used to see Reiner as weak -- held hostage by his emotional turmoil -- but after seeing Marcel and Ymir's memories, he understood how much he owed to his comrade. If Reiner hadn't been chosen to become the Armored Titan, it would have been Porco who was traumatized and mentally torn apart by his time in Paradis.
While he was initially cold and unwelcoming to their friendly advances, porco galliard, he showed great panic and anger when Pieck and Zeke Yeager are defeated during battle with the Survey Corps.
In his human form, Galliard had the appearance of a young man of medium height and slender complexion. He had gray eyes, and his blond hair was in an undercut style which was pushed back. He wore combat trousers and a short coat. He also wore the Eldian armband on his left arm, as required of all Eldians under the authority of Marley. While undercover on Paradis Island, Galliard stole a Garrison uniform to disguise himself as part of the Yeagerists. Galliard's Titan , the Jaw Titan , possessed deep-set eyes with a heavy brow and long blond hair. While his chin sported a long beard, the rest of his face was hairless with a cog-like arrangement of seemingly hard skin in place of lips.
