After two years, my Prusa MK2 was getting a bit long in the tooth. My prints were no longer a thing of beauty.

I am trying to understand the different upgrade options. I can see the items in the Mk2S to Mk2. But with the Mk2 to Mk2S it is polished rods and different bearings plus U bolts. If I do this upgrade, will I notice a difference. Honestly I am not trying to awkward, I am just trying to understand if the upgrade is worth doing? I did that upgrade just because I'm printing a lot and my Y-rods where rattling a little bit. So I was looking for new rods with bearings anyway. The new shaped U-holder are also pretty nice. If you have no issues right now, I wouldn't go for an update to MK2S.
Had the damage been worse, I would have needed my MK2 as a backup. Another automation system is offered by the Jobox team.

For all intents and purposes let's use a codename "MK2. While getting the components for your printer, make sure all the components are compatible! Don't buy parts, which require 24 V. Based on the printer you currently have, there are multiple upgrades available.
