This is a good first book in the reverse harem, enemies to lovers, dark romance series. Cecilia is such a strong character and her resiliency was great to read. Despite her harsh upbringing and the ruthlessness that was ingrained into her at a young age, she was still able to care for and protect others. The chemistry between her and Ronan was explosive, and the chemistry between her and Mateo was sweet and smoldering. I could feel their dedication and loyalty to each other, even when it was strained.
