On Xmas day and after it daughter will be trying out her quest 3. What is the process of this obviously I will need to open her device and set it up and then post on here what? Obviously it be good for her to try out demo games and free games to start with. I will see how she feels with head set as not hot a replacement yet. But by sounds I may have to spend out more to make it more comfortable for her which is a joke really as meta must know the orginal strap is crap and should upgrade as standard. It may depend on her age, what level of control you want over what apps she uses, if anyone else is going to use it as well or if its fully hers, if anyone else has a quest or will get one and they are likely to share apps or have very different taste in games. You can put multiple accounts on a headset and then many apps allow app sharing between accounts not all do though.

Have gotten my daughter a quest 3 and I hope she likes it, she hinted she wanted one so got the quest 3 over the quest 2 which was very tempting on Black Friday. As this device is pretty expensive what did you use temporarily until you got a case for it. But did see one on offer from Amazon au but comes from usa. Had pretty good reviews and was for the quest 3. What do you guys have regarding a case etc. But not having old accessories work on newer model is just a money grab. Not that I have owned the q2 just saying. You should wait and see how comfortable she finds the Q3 before getting a case. So I upgraded to the elite strap. Oh and the dock is great. Best part is recharging the controllers, but I find it fiddly to catch connection to headset. I have a Q2 and the two worthwhile ones I got were the halo strap and the hand grips, all third party.
