Since its inception, the Quinte Museum of Natural History has endeavoured to be a place of learning and discovery in the region. Over the past two years, its pop-up exhibitions have not only showcased the wonders of natural history but also fostered a deep sense of community engagement and curiosity. The museum is immensely proud to have welcomed over 29, visitors from the local region and beyond, offering them enriching and educational experiences. The museum said the success to date could not have happened without its volunteers, visitors, and community partners. The jaw-dropping exhibit features replications of dinosaurs and creatures that roamed the earth millions of years ago. The museum partnered with Trenton-based company Research Casting International to produce the dinosaur skeletons displayed in the exhibit. A small group from Lower Trent Conservation got one of the first looks at the museum on Wednesday.

After a brief soft-launch period, the Quinte Museum of Natural History QMNH is ready to fully open its doors five-days a week and work on attracting a larger audience. Local municipal and provincial leaders were on hand to cut the red ribbon as they were flanked by the prehistoric skulls and skeletons of the beasts that once ruled the earth.
