After winning a local contest, Rammstein was able to record demos and send them to different record labels, eventually signing with Motor Music. Working with producer Jacob Hellner , they released their debut album Herzeleid in Though the album initially sold poorly, the band gained popularity through their live performances and the album eventually reached No. Their second album, Sehnsucht , was released in and debuted at No. Following the tour, Rammstein signed with major label Universal Music and released Mutter in Six singles were released from the album, all charting in countries throughout Europe. It was released as the fourth and final single from their fourth studio album, Reise, Reise , on 28 February in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as a maxi-single, a limited edition digipak single, a 7" vinyl single, a 12" vinyl single, and as a two-track. The "Keine Lust" music video was filmed in January and premiered a month later. It depicts a reunion between Rammstein, whose members are visibly aged and morbidly obese, and their instruments are old and dusty.
