As such, the public may attend meetings and provide public comment virtually via Zoom. Although the meeting is also open to the public, seating has been reduced to allow for social distancing. Anyone desiring to speak on an agendized item at this meeting may do so during the consideration of that item. However, completion of speaker forms is not required to speak before the City Council. Please do not disturb the City Clerk or her assistant while a meeting is in progress. After the meeting has convened, you may submit the speaker form to the Municipal Utilities and Engineering Director. Forms are available prior to the meeting in the Office of the City Clerk or in the Council Chambers during the meeting. Due to time constraints and the number of persons who may wish to give oral testimony, time restrictions are placed on oral testimony. You may wish to make your comments in writing to assure that you are able to express yourself adequately.

The Planning Commission meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 4 pm. The second meeting in December will not be held in Located at the base of the San Bernardino mountains, 60 miles east of Los Angeles and 45 miles west of Palm Springs, Redlands offers easy access to hiking and biking trails, an eclectic array of quaint shops, historic architecture, and a variety of local restaurants. The City of Redlands is taking applications for the second round of its Grocery Gift Card program, funded by state and local Coronavirus Recovery Funds. The Grocery Gift Card program is designed to address the lingering economic impact on households and businesses resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. Portions of Redlands have been placed under quarantine for the oriental fruit fly by the California Department of Food and Agriculture after detecting multiple flies in the city. In San Bernardino and Riverside counties, detections in and around Redlands have resulted in a quarantine zone covering square miles, bordered on the north by the San Bernardino National Forest, on the south by Highway 60, on the west by Loma Linda, and on the east by Wildwood Canyon. City Council members and department directors will join the Redlands Community Senior Center for breakfast at a new monthly event, Senior Breakfast with a City Official, beginning in October. Each month, City Council members, department directors and other executive staff will join community members for breakfast and information on City projects and department updates.
