The portions are generous, with delicious vegetable and chicken dishes available until late at night. I love that the meat and fish is locally sourced, the service was good. All beautifully cooked and fresh. Without a doubt, we will be back! Anyway, asked about the menu and beware, the sea fish on the menu is frozen, and the samosa is also frozen! Prices are reasonable. Unless you enjoy the view of parked cars, noise, an outdated bathroom and missing furniture. The cheese platter was delivered without small plates and fork and no napkins. We were positively surprised by how nice the staff and how delicious the food was. We were seated at a window-side table and the view was unbeatable.

I guess this place could have more stars if the menu pricing is a bit more balanced and to match the atmosphere of the Village restaurant it is. One should bang your head on the wall instead of visiting this restaurant. The food was amazing real quality. Portree is very tough to get a short notice dinner booking so we decided to take away. Very popular restaurant offering great food in this small town. We are still talking about this meal. Also, make sure to book in advance or stand in line before mins they open if you want to secure a table because the place is tiny and it gets full rather quickly. For me it's better marketing if you write the name of the dish on the menu like what it is. The Isles Inn has adopted a Jacobean styled interior, and is located on Somerled Square — a quiet and relaxing area of Portree that is still within easy access of the harbour.
