He is so attached to this bike that he just wants to replace the broken fork and not get a brand new Diamondback Response MTB. He says that he'd rather just keep the Roadmaster Granite Peak and upgrade all the parts as they fail.

You can choose to have the bike delivered to your house or you can pick it up and buy it in the store, my review is based on the one ordered online and shipped to my house. The shipping time was fairly fast and I only had to wait maybe about a week or so at the max. All of the parts came in the box, nothing was missing and I more or less had everything I needed to assemble the bike. You can watch my Granite Peak Bike Unboxing video here to see how it arrived. After I pulled the bike out of the box and had a good look at it, I realized it was kind of a tangled mess which made it a bit difficult to assemble because everything was backwards. But on a positive note, nothing was scratched, damaged, out of place or broken. It was all in great quality, just a tangled. When I say tangled I mean that the handlebar was backwards which twisted the break wires all up, so I had to twist it around and untangle it all which was a bit more complicated than I thought. In short, the screws are a bit cheap so be careful turning them. I eventually got used to how the bike rides so it was only a minor problem. I even hit a few patches of glass and managed to survive without a flat tire.
