The Rogue Invitational will once again be held in the greater Austin, Texas area at Rogue invitational Diamond, with three days of competition scheduled from October 27 - 29, rogue invitational, Kids 12 and under will receive a free "general admission" ticket upon arrival to the event.

The Rogue Invitational is an annual sporting event that includes a CrossFit competition and a strongman competition. The event, organized by Rogue , started in as a CrossFit sanctioned competition, but has since become a major competition for CrossFit athletes. A contest for strongmen that featured the largest prize purse in the history of strongman competition was added in The first Rogue Invitational also hosted the Rogue Record Breakers whereby strongmen and strongwomen can attempt to break 4 Strongman records. In , due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic , the event was postponed and held online in June, to be competed by 18 men and 18 women, including top Games athletes, qualifiers from the qualification stage now called "The Q" and invitees. The third Rogue Invitational returned to live competition in , which took place over three days in October at Dell Diamond near Austin, Texas.

The Rogue Invitational is a CrossFit competition held by the mainstay weightlifting and functional fitness equipment company. Rogue Fitness is the best-known vendor of CrossFit equipment worldwide and is known to debut new products that are likely to appear in other competitions like The CrossFit Games. The Rogue Invitational is an exclusive competition as it is mainly accessible to athletes by invitation only. There is a qualifying phase that will advance a minimum of 5 male and 5 female competitors to the in-person competition in October. This event is one of the most coveted for competitors due to its extensive prize purse and additional benefits for participating athletes. This means that overall, athletes who chose to take part in the Invitational will be at net zero regardless of how many event wins they take home or how much support they can rack up from their sponsors. The Rogue Invitational is the fifth annual competition in CrossFit organized by Rogue Fitness and the 3rd to feature a strongman competition. Athletes may qualify for the Rogue invitational through the online qualifier, the Q, and 6 men and 6 women were selected from the qualifier. For the strongman competition, three of the most recent World's Strongest Man champions were invited, as well as additional three finalists from the World's Strongest Man. The defending champion Oleksii Novikov returned, but the champion Martins Licis chose not to take part. Annie Thorisdottir withdrew due to pregnancy, and Alexis Raptis due to injury. The CrossFit competitions were held over four days, from October 26 to 29, with 9 events scheduled.
