Ocular allergy is one of the common disorders of the external ocular adnexa. Seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis AC are prevalent, and relatively benign, forms of ocular allergic disease. Rarer, but typically more severe, forms of ocular allergic disease include atopic keratoconjunctivitis and vernal keratoconjunctivitis VKC.
