The design director of Sackboy: A Big Adventure announced the pre-order bonuses for the upcoming PlayStation 5 launch game today, including a special edition that's only available on PS4. The 3D platformer is a spinoff of a beloved Sony franchise, LittleBigPlanet which focuses on its recognizable mascot, Sackboy. This decision has been met with mixed reactions, as it seems to contradict messages from various Sony representatives stating that the company was focusing on separating the generations.
