Samsung s95b firmware
New firmware is out Is there any good news and is it worth updating?
I'm sure alot of people have been having the same issue. The automatic updates option was switched off. I was on firmware when I purchased the tv. It had automatically changed to today. I've noticed a change in the colour scheme and the "pop" on certain highlights on have disappeared. Also the "3D" look on the screen isnt there anymore. I was watching Venom and the scene where the red and blue lights from the police car reflect on Michelle William's face looks almost as though a red line was smeared across the screen and the processing was all wrong

I have been really enjoying my Samsung S95B 65 inch TV, well that was until I updated it in the last couple of days with the latest firmware Already the TV has popped up the screen optimisation messages twice in just a couple of days, the TV often takes much longer to start up out of standby and the menus feel sticky and sluggish for a short while. It's definitely not as stable as the previous firmware version and so far I cannot see any advantages over the update. I understand from what I've read it is not possible to downgrade the firmware back to the previous version. I just hope Samsung is working on a fix, especially now they are releasing a successor to the S95B in such a short space of time! Samsung, if you do listen to these forums I'm positive there are many S95B owners that would like a fix for the latest firmware. Go to Solution. View solution in context. Have the same problem with my S95B 65' after firmware update Terribly slow, constant pop-ups about screen optimisation it will never do it btw, in my opinion manual option for screen optimisation does't do anything either after the update Shame on you! It's a flagship, Euros product that after firmware update works like Xiaomi low budget smartphone from

A few weeks ago we brought you news where we told you that Samsung was working on a firmware to solve various image problems of its new QD-OLED. It turns out that we already have it here and, indeed, it solves all the problems or almost all that we mentioned to you. Remember that this model, in its first analysis, was criticized as imprecise, since it did not accurately follow the reference PQ EOTF curve for HDR material, resulting in excess brightness in a large part of the image, washing out the contrast. It was Vincent Teo who already announced that the Korean brand was working on a firmware to update the Samsung S95B with the aim of enhance the image offered by Filmmaker mode , thus conforming to the cinematographic norm and especially to following the EOTF curve. In other news, my end review has just been pushed back… pic. But what happened to this model regarding its image quality? In addition, there is a reference curve that never varies and which, as its name suggests, is used as a reference for measuring brightness levels. In addition to the fact that calibration controls were not available, it was impossible correctly calibrate the screen of the Samsung S95B. In the image that heads this paragraph we see in three examples what happens with the EOTF curve. For example, going back to the image above, in the first photo the gray line the one that shows how our TV measures is to the right of the yellow line, which means that the image will be too dark.

Turn Off Brightness Reduction. I agree that the manufacturers should have a mode for brighter rooms I'm not sure why they are hesitant to return firmware to though they do have the capability to do so. DarkWolfHobbies said:.
