We fell in love with restaurants and great dining experiences. What started out as an oyster bar has since evolved into a larger sustainable seafood restaurant and a one-of-a-kind local dining experience for guests. In addition to enjoying a delicious seafood meal, sand and pearl oyster bar menu, guests can also join Sand and Pearl staff for yoga sessions, live music, and other community events. Maybe the only thing more important to Nicole and Nathan than a holistic dining experience is their relationship with local food producers.
Inside are top teak root dining tables flanking a massive full-service bar. In spite of the impressive furnishings, the eye is drawn to the south and west-facing walls of the restaurant, both of which are open to the beautiful views and refreshing sea breeze. What started as a simple concept to serve a variety of oysters developed into a multifaceted menu of old and new favorites: pan-seared scallops, prosciutto-wrapped mahi mahi and a show-stopping seafood tower. Kalogridis credits this to the talent of his chefs and the creative process. Kalogridis grew up with Florida saltwater in his hair. He remembers his dad sitting him on the bar stool of their first family-owned oyster bar. To start, we swooned over the oysters El Salvador, grilled oysters topped with cold ceviche and a creamy avocado salad, and the Far East oysters flavored with spicy wasabi, pickled ginger and shaved red onion.

Very clearly understaffed. We arrived at 7pm and were already 86'ing numerous items on the menu and had to wait quite a while to be seen. It's popular for a reason and the food was excellent, but a few things to improve on. September Finally got to dine here! We visit the County each Fall but always missed getting to this place before they close for the season.
