It always pleases me to think about how enormously impressive it is. The story of Seiko began in , when a 21 year old entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened a shop selling and repairing watches and clocks in central Tokyo. Just eleven years later, in , he established the 'Seikosha' factory. In Kintaro Hattori bought a disused factory in Tokyo and Seikosha was formed In Japanese, "Seiko" means "exquisite", "minute" or "success" and "sha" means house. It was here that Kintaro Hattori produced his first clocks and these marked the beginnings of a company that was to become one of the important manufacturers of timepieces. Seiko Automatic. The sarb is a watch loved by collectors for a reason. It is made with love and attention and when released was priced at a very competitive level. It really is something, it looks great, has outstanding build quality, and comes with Seiko's trademark reliability with the 6r15 automatic movement. What more could you ask for?
