We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated HealthCare Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The following are the core responsibilities of the Healthcare Assistant. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:. Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximitery, blood pressure, temperature and pulse rate, recording findings accurately. Ensure clinical waste is removed from clinical areas and sharps bins replaced in accordance with the organisations IPC policy. We are a rural practice based across 2 sites in the villages of Kirton Lindsey and Scotter and it will be necessary to work across both sites as required. We currently have approximately patients, which is ever increasing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who shares our commitment to delivering high quality patient care, and who has the interest and energy to join with us in further developing the Practice. To support the practice nursing and administrative teams in the delivery of clinical and administrative services, working as part of the practice multi-disciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The Healthcare Assistant will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education whilst also supporting the administrative team on an as-required basis. The time delay was unacceptable and stressful with just untruths and incompetence from staff I have now changed to another GP practice with modern systems. Report as unsuitable.
